Background
The love that Aryx's parents have for each other was greatly opposed to, leading them to run away, escaping to London where they have ever since, disguised themselves as muggles to blend in with everyone else, sweeping their identities off the radar overnight.
They kept their bloodline as a secret so deep, Aryx grew up just like any other teenagers in London, leading an ordinary life as he remained ignorant and oblivious to the abilities and world that's kept out of his sight and knowledge.
All until he was seventeen — and that was when Aryx's parents finally told him everything a day after his birthday party, leaving him to laugh and snort uncontrollably at how absurd and atrocious everything sounded ("Wands and magic exist only in video games, Mom.").
His world spun round and round, like everything he's grown up believing in is suddenly bullshit after his mother sighed loudly and demonstrated how magic worked in front of him. Rumor has it that Aryx Lark is still shocked to his very core, his mind fuzzing out as his jaw dropped.

Trivias
Aryx's biggest weakness is needless to say, his older sister, Arya. Though Aryx's mostly laid back and will always love to have a great time laughing and playing around with everyone, his demeanour shifts the moment he thinks someone is doing his sister wrong.
Though Aryx's competitive most of the time, he doesn't have the determination and capability when it comes to getting the honor's roll. Studying is a nightmare that Aryx ignores and conveniently forgets about.
Growing up in London, Aryx can never seem to extract himself from the life he's born into. Aryx still adores going back to London from time to time when he's free, playing basketball with his childhood friends or hitting the arcades with them. It's the muggle life, someone had said, Aryx still sees everything the same.
If Aryx believes in love, it's only because the bond he shares with his videos run so deep, he aspires to have a relationship that he can love another just like he adores his collection of dota hero skins. Aryx has spent almost all of his time growing up playing all sorts of games and considers himself obsessed with gaming — the moment he knew he was moving into Hogwarts, he made sure to pack his laptop and gaming consoles with him so nothing can tear them apart.
Aryx's old habits and passion that he had in London still live on even now, including his youtube channel he didn't have the heart to trash — even now, Aryx's still updating his channels under the name LarkySe7en religiously, often streaming his experiences with different games to his viewers without letting them know where he is.
Aryx does video-blogging at times, heeding that adventurous side within him that always demands to be heard by travelling a lot to capture pretty sceneries.
Aryx generally curses a lot; he thinks his gamer friends who he often live-streams with have something do with his potty mouth, or maybe it’s his classmates he used to hang out with everyday — or maybe it’s just him, because god fucking damn it, it feels so good to.

Aryx's best-friend, the one person he will always go to, his safe harbor, his family, his absolute weakness and the biggest reason why he took up the offer to start studying in Hogwarts— it's all because he gets to stay close to his sister's side, and protect her.

Though a professor, Eske's no doubt, someone Aryx's closest to. He knows he should really start behaving more like a student than a family for Eske's sake in school, but really, Aryx can never see Eske in any other ways except for that family who he loves and loves to tease and annoy.

Rory's always been an only child, but that's alright! It's precisely why Aryx and his sister have always been more protective of Rory, determined to kick all loneliness away from his cousin who he'll lay a hand on without any hesitation. No other reasons, but just because he's Rory who he loves.

Aryx's number one to go to if he ever decides to bully someone. Though they have known each other only after Aryx had found out about magic, the lack of time where they could've used to know each other more didn't stop them from being close rapidly fast. In fact, Dayle's one of Aryx's most important family. As much as he fights with Dayle, he wouldn't hesitate to fight for him.

Friends who Aryx thinks of extremely dearly. He regards them akin to his blood sisters, and are extremely protective of them since they are so much younger than him too (or maybe Aryx's just used to being a brother to every friend). The three of them can be frequently seen anywhere in school either sharing the biggest laughter, or doing the most silly things together.

Aryx's always the dare taker, the one who likes to breeze through flames and ridiculous challenges he should really back down from. This is clearly the reason why his mother used to pull at his ear so much, but then again Aryx finds himself sitting in a trash bin readily, looking way too cheery for someone who's asking you to help put the lid over the bin before kicking him down the long spiral of stairs.

Aryx has the worst alcohol tolerance, he knows, but even so he can't help but drink three to four bottles more than what he can really handle when it's his friend's birthday (one simply doesn't ask Aryx to sit out during a birthday party). Now he's back to school, but his cheeks are so flushed, his walk is so bad he might as well scream to the world that he's drunk and if only he gets back to his room safely in one piece— oh? What do you mean he's been knocking and wailing outside your door? This is his room, he's pretty sure.

It's the worst way, he knows, but if there's one thing his favorite TV show back home has taught him it's that nothing is the end. Bad grades? Live a little brighter! Failing your tests? Try again, it's okay! Terrible, terrible results that require tuitions? You can lie a little Aryx, it's probably alright. Ross Geller's student did that and everything went well, didn't it? So there Aryx goes in the end, toying with a love letter he's researched about (to make sure it's moving) before knocking on your door an hour after midnight.
"I think I'm falling for you, Professor. I know it's not right but I'm falling so hard, I can't even concentrate during classes. Can you maybe.. please tutor me on this subject? I promise I will get over you."
